The application for the ksdiy summer residency had asked for proposals for workshops or ideas for ways that ideas could be shared. Attendance was not obligatory and I went to several short talks and a few of the workshops, including porridge sculptures (an idea cribbed from Schwitters himself and strangely challenging and satisfying), learning to fly, yoga, and a call and response singing workshop that I don't think I quite understood but which I enjoyed and certainly set me to thinking.
